2009: Year of France in Brazil

For our cultural exchange program, the focus of 2009 was on the French language and history, especially there where interacting with Brazil. The paintings and descriptions that the French artist Debret made of Brazil in the 19th century are both beautiful (sometimes) and interesting (always). We host all his works here.
