Language classes with a focus on business
In our classes we use the communicative approach, in which the trainer provokes the students into seeking a dialogue on a great variety of topics.
Specific vocabulary is combined with role- play simulations that cover real-life situations like meetings, presentations, planning, internal communication, trade etc. Specifically, for English:
- At the basic level we use a method that combines all the Cambridge Languages material -a variety which guarantees dynamic classes- and an introduction to Business English.
At the intermediate level the focus changes. Besides training in vocabulary and grammar, the basis of the classes is the daily English the students need in their profession, for example analysis of the financial world using material from CNN, BBC World Service and Bloomberg.
- At the advanced level we include analysis of scientific texts of the professional field of the student, using contemporary articles from the online database of the University of Michigan (Proquest).
